Tim will host visits from clubs – because of the weather and day length, these need to be arranged to take place in the summer.

North Romford Fuchsia Society

We meet on the first Friday of each month at The Catholic Social Club, Lowshoe Lane,
Collier Row, Romford, RM5 2AP.

Our first meeting of the year is held in February when we hold an optional beginners class starting at 7.15pm. Here you can learn the basics of growing. This session provides all beginners or novices with the advice and guidance they need to ensure they enjoy their fuchsias. This class normally ceases with the June meeting.
The full meeting begins at 8pm when we usually have an expert speaker to entertain us. Mainly on the subject of fuchsias, providing many hints and tips on how to grow well, interspersed throughout the year we also have speakers on a variety of different subjects, so our meetings are always a bit lively!
Our shop with pots, baskets fertilizers, perlite etc… All very competitively priced!

We aim to visit a nursery in the Spring for members to purchase plants.

Each year all members are given a free fuchsia cutting and asked to bring them back later in the Season to be judged.

Above all we are a welcoming friendly society, happy to help with a wealth of experienced fuchsia growers, who are keen to pass on their knowledge to old and new members alike.

We are always looking for new members to join, both beginners and experts are equally welcome.

Why not come along to one of our Friday nights as a guest, you are most welcome!
